Olive Leaves is dedicated to raising funds for children in Palestine by blending a love for culture with humanitarian efforts.
We share the rich tradition of Italian cuisine, teaching the art of making fresh pasta and tiramisu,
while simultaneously generating much-needed support for the children of Palestine.
Our initiatives also include the sale of second-hand clothing,
which promotes sustainability while raising essential funds for our cause.
Mission
At Olive Leaves, our mission is to blend the beauty of Italian culture with the urgency of social justice. We are dedicated to supporting the children of Palestine and fighting for the liberation of all oppressed communities around the world.
We stand against systems of capitalism, imperialism, colonialism, fascism, and racism that perpetuate inequality and deep injustice.
Through our cooking classes, events, and fundraising efforts, we create opportunities to challenge these systems, using culture and community as tools for resistance. We believe that every action, no matter how small, contributes to the larger fight for freedom, liberation, dignity, and justice for all.
At the heart of our mission is a commitment to solidarity. We aim to not only raise funds for humanitarian causes but to foster awareness and inspire action.
By sharing the art of Italian cuisine and hosting community-driven events, we provide a platform for individuals to unite in the fight for liberation, while celebrating resilience, creativity, and collective strength.
Together, we fight for a world where all people can live free from oppression, where cultural exchange promotes understanding, and where solidarity leads to meaningful change.
In addition to our cooking classes, we are deeply committed to addressing the global issue of textile waste. Every year, 92 million tonnes of textile waste are produced worldwide, contributing to environmental harm. To combat this, we organise events where we sell second-hand clothes generously donated by individuals.

Palestine
We believe that Palestine represents the beginning of the liberation of all people on Earth. It is the key point—the wake-up call for humanity.
What we have been witnessing for the past year, the genocide of the Palestinian people, is profoundly changing us. The images and videos emerging from Gaza are worse than anything seen in horror movies. This tragedy forces us to look beyond ourselves.
Palestine has been fighting for its liberation for 76 years. The children being killed before our eyes will live on in our memories forever.
It is painful, but through this pain, we find unity. From this pain, our anger rises, and from this anger, our desire to change the system emerges. All emotions are sacred and indispensable for change.

Our Story
Sarah Bertozzi is the founder of Olive Leaves. Deeply moved by the ongoing situation in Palestine, she was inspired to take action, turning her dream into reality through Olive Leaves, a project she created together with seven of her friends.
Sarah's journey into cooking began a year and a half ago, and she has since become an expert in fresh pasta. She decided to combine her passion for cooking with her commitment to humanitarian work.
